Aswathiah & Bros was established in 1936 and is a leading pioneer in the incense manufacturing community. They had a humble beginning in a small incense crafting unit in Chintamani, the same town that Balaji Agarbatti Company began. With the growing of international commerce, B.V Aswathiah & Bros has become a successful company, and Nandi is their leading brand.
They currently have six incense manufacturing facilities, with a combined area of over 50,000 square feet.

The past 70 years have treated B.V Aswathiah & Bros well and their production capacity has now increased from one ton to one thousand tons a year. They craft a large variety of fragrances and their research department is constantly working on new products. Their facilities are considered state of the art and are held to stringent quality control procedures.
Incense sticks made by B.V Aswathiah & Bros are hand-made, natural, and made using traditional crafting methods. Some of the fragrances in the Nandi product line are immensely popular, such as Divine Flora, Mist, Diamond, and Joy.
Their incense sticks are crafted with great care and their advanced inventory management system ensures that suppliers receive the freshest incense possible.
B.V Aswathiah & Bros currently employs over 500 individuals, with women comprising of more then 75% of the workforce. They also supply their female workers with maternity benefits. They do not employ children and are strictly against child labor. Currently they are shipping globally and have clientele in the United States of America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
